Ceremomial Cacao
Our Ceremonial Cacao is a 100% pure cacao powder crafted with minimal processing to preserve both its historical authenticity and natural bioactive properties.
Made using traditional Mexican cacao lavado techniques, the beans are carefully washed, dried, gently roasted, and stone-ground into a smooth paste without conching or tempering, resulting in a single-ingredient product that reflects ancient preparation methods.
We share the belief that only unfermented cacao from Mexico and Central America can genuinely be classified as ceremonial. This approach honors traditional practices while also supporting potential health benefits, as it helps retain the natural bioactive compounds found in fresh, raw cacao seeds to the greatest extent possible.
